The Song Club

Since 2006 The Song Club at The Donkey has been putting on a monthly showcase of fine, original music.

This first Thursday of the month night has become synonymous with quality, eclectic and diverse genres of live music presented in a warm and appreciative atmosphere that The Donkey easily generates!

Music starts at 8.30pm and is Free to get in.

After last months superb 5th birthday bash for THE SONG CLUB we have a hard task to beat that. But we’re giving it a go! An eclectic mix of styles yet again. We have Leicester duo THE DAYDREAM CLUB playing exquisitely beautiful songs. Leicester’s weird and wonderful ECHOLOCATION, old school mods/rockers UGLY POP and, from Bristol, the delightfully quirky ZEN ELEPHANT - “An upbeat blend of folk, reggae and roots music. Firm favourites on the festival circuit. Not to be missed!”. We do try and make it a night like no other. And its Free to get in!
