Due to the retirement abroad of our esteemed guitarist Reverb this will be the last gig Crazyhead will play for at least a year. We are not disbanding just recognising this phase of Crazyhead is over. So to say goodbye we are holding one last gig for our fans at our spiritual home The Donkey as part of their change of ownership party weekend. So this may be your last chance to see us. We all want to say what a gas the last two years have been and give thanks to all of you.

Wendy Christian and the last band (REGGAE/SOUL/FUNK)
£4
Back in the mid-Eighties, Wendy Christian & the Last Band shone brightly but all too briefly on the local, national and European music scene. 31 years and 5 months since they last performed together, Wendy Christian (vocals), Rich Barton (guitar), Dave Davies (bass), Dave Anderson (drums) and Tony Robinson (keyboards and trumpet) have reformed. Members of the band went on to play with the likes of Diesel Park West, The Beautiful South, Super Furry Animals, Laurel Aitkin, Sally Barker, Medicine

Shack, Sisters of Murphy and the Status Trio, to name a few, but always retained a love of the Last Band's timeless songs and Wendy's passionate vocal skills.

We are absolutely delighted and yet absolutely gutted to be playing at our favourite live music venue in Leicester for Warren and Zoe’s last ever night at The Donkey. It’s been an honour to serve you both. You’re 2 amazing people and I’m sure we speak on behalf of pretty much everybody who knows you...the place won’t ever be the same...

That said, we should party and celebrate your new chapter in life...and party we shall...!

Tickets (I’m guessing) will sell-out in a heartbeat, at a cost of £10 each. Capacity will be capped at 250. If you want to be part of this special night, contact us on here leaving a telephone number and ticket requests or speak with any of the Mods, you’re lucky/unlucky enough to know! We also intend to leave a few at The Donkey once they’re printed.

Dave Snape will DJ on the night, playing all his vinyl fineries.

For the 250....we’ll be seeing you....!
